Jewellery Care:

Our luxe silver-tone jewellery is non-tarnish and maintains its vivid silver tone over a long period. Our 18K gold layered pieces have a superior finish compared to standard gold plating, however, over time it may oxidize and wear out. A few simple care steps will extend the life of the gold jewellery, keeping it looking fabulous, fresh and intact:
  • Beauty is delicate. Our jewellery is carefully crafted using small components, mini links & natural shells, pearls and stones. Please be gentle and handle with care. Treat each piece with love.
  • Store each piece separately to avoid it getting scratched. Earrings, bracelets, studs and rings should be stored in individual pouches.
  • Necklaces should be hung. While you hang your necklace, be sure to close the necklace to the end of the extender. If loose, the extender may rub against the main piece.
  • Do not swim, shower or sleep in your jewellery. 
  • Do not wear it while gardening, doing housework or at the gym.
  • Avoid putting your jewellery in contact with perfumes, hair sprays, creams, makeup, sunscreen, nail polish, and other cosmetics. Put jewellery on last when dressing and take it off first when undressing.
  • Do not polish or use cleaning agents. Use a soft cloth or an eyeglasses cleaning cloth to gently remove dust or dirt. If necessary damp the cloth ever so slightly.

We want you to be 100% pleased with your online purchase. If you are unhappy with your purchase, we will accept a return of any regular priced items (within 14 days of receiving your order) for a store credit or store exchange (store credits do not expire). To be eligible for a store credit or store exchange, items must be returned in their original condition with all tags attached. Sale items or any item purchased with a discount/promotional code cannot be returned and are final sale.

 

How to return an Item

If you would like to make an exchange or get a store credit from an online purchase (item(s) must not be worn, washed, or damaged and must have all original tags and packaging), you must let us know within the 14 days of receiving your order via email at info@borealishairboutique.ca. We will then send you return instructions. Once your return is received and reviewed, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you on the status of your store credit or exchange. Once approved, your store credit or exchange will be processed. All return and exchange shipping costs are at the customer's expense.
